I am both a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) as well as a Licensed Massage Practitioner (LMP) . I received my PTA license at Macomb Community College earning my associates degree in Physical Therapy. It was then that I began my career as a Traveling Therapist, affording me the opportunity to work my way across the US in various settings such as Acute Cardio-Pulmonary Recovery, Pediatric and Adult Neuro/Physical Rehabilitation and Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapy until I eventually settled in the Seattle area to focus on my John Barnes Myofascial Release skills. I have taken all of the John Barnes Myofascial Release courses including a 40-hour skilled enhancement at the Therapy on the Rocks Treatment center with John Barnes and his therapy team.
I sought this work due to my own difficulty with chronic pain and desire to enjoy my passion for the outdoors. With regular myofascial treatments from my colleagues and self care strategies, I am able to paddleboard, ride the dunes on my four wheeler, paddleboard, snowboard and hike with my four-legged friends.
I am passionate about working with clients who are motivated to achieve greater mobility with decreased musculoskeletal pain by blending advanced John Barnes Myofascial Release techniques with gravity assisted stretches and postural awareness. If you feel like you are missing out on things that you once enjoyed, I would love to be a part of your healing journey so that you too can return to the activities that feed your soul and improve your overall quality of life!
What others are saying…
“Amanda’s skills helped me get back to living my life. Without it, I’d be back to taking tons of pain medication, missing family functions and calling in sick and I can’t afford to do that! Besides, my garden would suffer if I did”
-Balinda, Grocery store employee
“I spent years dealing with sore shoulders and low back pain and am prone to poor posture due to working behind a desk all day. Myofascial release has relieved my pain, helps me sit up straighter and even improved my golf game. Thanks, Amanda!
-James, IT department manager
“Amanda has helped me resolve chronic issues more than any other therapist I’ve worked with. I never would have thought Amanda’s gentle technique could actually be so much more effective than deep tissue massage, PT etc. and achieve long lasting results. Amanda is very intuitive and incredibly skilled at what she does. I highly recommend her!“

“Amanda has a great touch and is really knowledgeable about how to work on my body. Many times, she’s helped me work through areas of pain and tension and helped me get off the massage table feeling like a new person. She’s great at working with me to uncover holding patterns and coaching me through ways to work on myself. I highly recommend her therapy services!“
-Beth, Occupational Therapist
